The first time was about ten years ago to paint the outside of our house. What impressed me more than anything was they used 52 tubes of caulk to seal everything up, taking 2 guys 1 full day, before they started to paint.

Recently we used them again, this time to scrape off the "popcorn" texturing from our interior ceilings then to apply a new knock down texture and paint.

Both times Mickey communicated about what was to happen, when it was to happen and where they stood in their progress of the project. Hegarty painting was on schedule, cleaned up and put their stuff away each night, and did a quality paint job both times.

When I first undertook the project of having all our condominium units (seven) painted and dealing with 28 homeowners I thought I would never get this done. When another house painter painted part of one side of our one and one-half story home, spilled a good deal of our expensive paint in the yard and then left us high and dry, we interviewed several painters. Mr. Hegarty gave us what we considered to be a fair estimate and was the only painter who mentioned power washing the house before starting which convinced us.

He also was honest enough to admit he was booked up even into the fall, and if there was too much inclement weather during the summer, there was a possibility that he couldn't get to our house until the next spring. We were afraid by the time we moved up his schedule that we would be forgotten about, but true to his word, he didn't forget. not only that, he called several weeks before he was ready to do our house to let us know that he had not forgotten us, was getting close and there was little doubt that he could do the job before winter.

When I decided it was time to paint my house, I turned to the classified. Being a single mother I decided I had better interview several painters. I called over 20 painters, when Mickey bid on my house he was very attentive to all my questions and concerns. He also took the time to help with all my questions on helping me decide on the colors, because I was wanting to make a change and wasn't certain of my choices.

Mr. Hegarty recently completed two interior painting projects in my home. He and his employee were very precise in their work. Each day he arrive early as scheduled and each afternoon he not only cleaned up the mess -- he took his trash with him! All the work was done beautifully and I will hire him again at any time I may need painting services. I found him to be trustworthy, friendly and dependable.
